So next time you see that “Sugars: 10.6g per 100ml” on a bottle of Coke, you have two choices. Option one: salute it like a soldier, drink your 330ml, and accept you’ve just had a dessert in disguise. Option two: pour it into a cup with lots of ice and pretend the ice dilutes the sugar count. (Spoiler: it doesn’t. But your brain gets a participation trophy.)
You could also just drink water. But where’s the fun in that? Water doesn’t burn your throat in a good way. Water doesn’t make your eyes pop open during a mid-afternoon slump. But at least water won’t make you ask, “Did I just drink a pug?” And honestly, that’s a question nobody should have to face.
