So, what's the deal with Tae and his multiple names? Well, it's not like he's trying to be confusing or anything, it's just that in Korea, it's pretty common for people to have multiple nicknames. And, let's be real, when you're a member of one of the most popular boy bands in the world, you're going to have a lot of people calling you different things. V, Tae, Vante - it's all the same guy, and we love him no matter what we call him.
But, just to make things more interesting, Tae has also said that he likes being called V because it makes him feel like he's a different person. Like, maybe Tae is the everyday, ordinary guy, and V is the superstar version of himself. It's like he's got his own secret identity, and we're all just along for the ride. And, honestly, who wouldn't want to be a part of that?
Now, I know what you're thinking - what about the other members of BTS? Do they have secret names too? Well, it turns out that RM is also sometimes called Namjoon, and Jin is also known as World Wide Handsome (which, let's be real, is just the best nickname ever). And, as for Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook, they all have their own nicknames too - it's like a never-ending parade of cute and quirky names.
