So, here's a fun fact - Haakon is actually a Prince right now, but when he becomes king, he'll be known as King Haakon VII (not VIII, sorry about that earlier!). And, get this - he's a skier and a sailor, which is pretty typical for a Norwegian, but still pretty awesome for a future king.
And, did you know that the Norwegian royal family has a summer palace that's open to the public? It's called the Oscarshall Palace, and it's located just outside Oslo. Maybe one day, Haakon will invite you over for a barbecue or something - a royal BBQ, anyone?

But, what's really exciting about Haakon becoming king is the fact that he'll bring a fresh perspective to the throne. He's modern, he's progressive, and he's all about making a difference. Who knows, maybe he'll even start a royal podcast or something - the possibilities are endless!
So, there you have it - King Haakon VIII might not be a real thing just yet, but Haakon the future king is definitely someone to keep an eye on. He's charming, he's witty, and he's got a heart of gold. Long live the future king, right?
In all seriousness, though, Haakon becoming king will be a big deal for Norway, and it'll be interesting to see how he navigates the role. Will he be a traditional monarch, or will he shake things up and do things his own way? Only time will tell, but one thing's for sure - it'll be fun to watch.
