For fans, it's hard to see their favorite members go, but it's also a proud moment - it's like watching your child graduate from college, you're sad to see them go, but you're also proud of the person they've become! The military service is a rite of passage for Korean men, and it's a way for the BTS members to give back to their country. It's like when you volunteer at a local charity - it's a way to make a difference and give back to your community.
