As of April 2026, the official BGT final date hasn’t been confirmed, which is ITV’s way of saying “we’ll tell you when we’re good and ready.” Historically, the final lands in the first or second week of June. So set a reminder for June 7, 2026 as a strong guess—but don’t bet your life savings on it, unless you enjoy the thrill of being wrong. Follow @BGT on social media, and they’ll blast the date at you like a confetti cannon.

And if you miss the live final? Don’t panic. The rerun airs about 47 times, and clips will flood your TikTok feed until you’ve memorized every dance move by the winner. One year, I missed the final because my Wi-Fi died during a magic act. I woke up to 14 texts from my aunt asking if I’d seen “the man who turned into a pigeon.” I hadn’t. But I did learn that BGT finals are like life: messy, loud, and full of people who think they can sing. But we love every second of it. So grab your tea, ignore the chores, and prepare for the most gloriously ridiculous Saturday night of your year.
Just don’t ask me when the final is again—I’m already stressed enough.
