I’m serious. Walk outside and ask the oldest person you see. Retired veterans, plane spotters, or that guy with a model Spitfire on his porch—they know. They have the time etched into their souls.
Or better yet, ask a kid. Kids have no filter. If you ask a child, “What time is the flypast?” they will either give you a precise time they heard from their dad, or they’ll say, “I dunno, but it’s gonna be loud.” Both answers are valid.
What If You Miss It? (Don’t Panic)
Okay, worst-case scenario: you miss the flypast. You were in the bathroom. You were making toast. You were arguing about which streaming service to subscribe to. It happens. We’ve all been that person who rushes outside only to see a single vapor trail fading into the clouds.
What time is the RAF flypast at Buckingham Palace today and how to
But here’s a comforting thought: there’s always another flypast. Seriously. The RAF loves showing off. The Red Arrows are basically sky celebrities. They’ll do it again for a royal wedding, a sporting event, or a particularly sunny Tuesday. Mark my words.
In the meantime, watch a YouTube video of the flypast from last year. It’s not the same, but it’s still pretty darn cool. And you can pause it to get more toast.
