What Is a Quadrant in a Graphにまつわる役立つ知識を分かりやすく発信ます。

Imagine you walk into your favorite coffee shop. A giant chalkboard menu hangs on the wall. You see “Drip Coffee” on one side and “Espresso” on the other.

Now, imagine a horizontal line runs across that board (like a shelf) and a vertical line runs down through it (like a pillar). These two lines cross right in the middle. That crossing point is called the origin—the “home base.” This simple cross splits the board into four separate sections.

Those four sections are the quadrants. Quadrant just means “one of four parts.” So when you look at a graph, you’re really just looking at a coffee shop menu that’s divided into four neat boxes.
