Great question. You’d expect this viral C-drama to live on Netflix or YouTube, but no—it’s thriving on Dailymotion, the video site that feels like the cool, slightly chaotic cousin of YouTube. It’s where subbed episodes drop hours before they hit the mainstream, and where the comment sections are glorious dumpsters of memes and ship wars.
Here’s a surprising fact: The Ninth Prince Is A Girl actually leaked onto Dailymotion after its official platform crashed under fan demand. Yes, fans loved it so much they broke the Internet. The show’s viewership doubled overnight, and Dailymotion servers probably started sweating in a language only IT guys understand.
The Cast: Beautiful, Annoying, and Perfect
Our lead actress plays the ninth prince with a mix of swagger and panic that feels deeply relatable. She’ll strangle a political rival with a silken scarf, then panic because she can’t find her hairpin. It’s refreshingly human. Meanwhile, the actual male characters are hilariously oblivious—one literally walks into a wall while staring at her “manly” jawline.

Oh, and the villain? He’s so nasty that fans have started a “hate-watch” drinking game. Every time he dramatically sips wine while plotting murder, take a sip of your own. Medical disclaimer: do not actually do this unless you own a hospital.
