So, who wins? Maybe it’s a pair of retired best friends who still argue about directions. Or a father-son duo who bond over a broken-down tuk-tuk. The answer is: the team that doesn’t break up before the finish line. That’s the real victory.
In everyday life, we don’t “win” at travel. We just get home, kick off our shoes, and say, “Well, that was something.” And honestly? That’s the best prediction of all. The 2026 winner will be the one who reminds us that the journey is the prize—even if you smell like a bus station and your socks are gone forever.
Now, go grab a snack and start planning your own imaginary route. You know you want to.
