Sometimes tech acts up. If your TV shows a black screen, don’t panic. Check the cable connection, and make sure your TV is on the right input. If AirPlay won’t connect, restart both your MacBook and your TV. It’s the IT version of “have you tried turning it off and on again?” It works 90% of the time.
If the screen looks fuzzy or cuts off, go to Displays settings and adjust the resolution. Your TV probably wants a specific size (like 1080p or 4K). Let it have what it wants. Happy TV, happy life.
For audio issues? Click the sound icon in your menu bar and make sure the output is set to your TV. If your speakers sound like a robot eating a wasp, you’re in the right menu. Just select the TV and carry on.
