And what about the iceberg itself? Did anyone snap a picture? Yes. Or at least, one is believed to be the real one. A photo taken the morning after the sinking shows a large white iceberg with a streak of red paint. Is that the one? Scientists debate it. But the idea that someone casually photographed a chunk of ice that just killed 1,500 people is wild. Talk about bad timing.
