Here’s the short and sweet version: the Costco Gateshead petrol station generally opens 6:00 AM and closes at 10:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. Yes, you read that right—that’s a solid sixteen-hour window to catch those sweet, sweet savings.
But wait, there’s a twist! On Sundays, the hours are a bit more relaxed, opening at 7:00 AM and closing a bit earlier at 6:00 PM. It’s like Costco knows we all need a little lie-in on the day of rest.
Why These Hours Feel Like a Secret Handshake
Think about it: most regular petrol stations are either 24-hour madness or have weirdly inconsistent times. Costco’s schedule is predictable and generous, which is honestly a kind of mental peace. You don’t have to wonder if you’ll be the person crying over an empty tank at 10:05 PM on a Tuesday.
It’s like the Disneyland of fuel—it has a strict opening time, but the magic is totally worth the wait. You get the thrill of a deal without the chaos of a midnight gas run.
