The Grimm brothers' version of Snow White is pretty intense, with the evil queen being way more evil than you'd imagine. She's like the ultimate mean girl, and her jealousy of Snow White's beauty is so strong that it drives her to madness. It's like, can you imagine being so jealous of someone that you'd want to kill them?
But what's really interesting about the original story is the way it explores themes of beauty and vanity. The evil queen is obsessed with being the fairest of them all, and Snow White's beauty is what sets the whole story in motion. It's like, what does it really mean to be beautiful, and is it worth all the drama and danger that comes with it?
The 7 dwarfs are also way different in the original story, and they're not just cute little guys with funny names. They're like, actual miners who are tough and rugged, and they're not afraid to stand up for themselves. It's like, who wouldn't want to hang out with a group of feisty little miners who can hold their own?
