So, can players on the exempt list still practice or attend games? The answer is a bit of a gray area. While they can't participate in on-field activities, they can still watch from the sidelines and attend team meetings. However, they can't travel with the team or participate in any game-day activities.
But here's the fun part: players on the exempt list can still get paid and receive benefits while they're on the list. It's like getting paid time off, but instead of lounging on the beach, they're stuck on the sidelines watching their teammates play. And, in some cases, players can even appeal their placement on the exempt list, which can lead to some pretty dramatic and public disputes.
