Let’s be honest—we’re here for the animals. You’ve got goats that look at you like you owe them money. And sheep that seem to be judging your life choices. They’re surprisingly opinionated, okay?
Don’t even get me started on the alpacas. They have that “I’m too cool for this farm” energy, but they’ll still eat a carrot out of your hand. It’s a power dynamic that’s hard to explain.
There’s a huge barn with cows, chickens, and the occasional pig that looks like it’s plotting world domination. Seriously, that pig knows something. You can feed them too—just bring 50p for the feed machine. It’s cheaper than therapy.
The Play Area (For the Tiny Humans)
If you bring kids, you’re in luck. There’s an epic outdoor play area. We’re talking slides, swings, and a big wooden castle that looks like it was built by a very enthusiastic lumberjack. You’ll lose them in there for at least 45 minutes. That’s enough time to drink a coffee while it’s still hot. Miracle.
Indoor soft play is also an option, because British weather is a liar. One minute it’s sunny, the next you’re defending your picnic from a rogue drizzle. The soft play has ball pits. You have been warned. You might leave with a stray ball in your bag. It happens.
