話題沸騰中の Is Woolwich a Nice Place to Liveについて、多角的な視点をご紹介しています。

Housing is a mixed bag. You’ve got beautiful, converted Georgian houses in the Royal Arsenal development, with huge windows and river views that cost an arm and a leg. Then you’ve got solid Victorian terraces further out that are still, dare I say, affordable by London standards.

Nightlife is… aspirational. There’s a decent theatre (the Tramshed), a few solid pubs (the Dial Arch is stunning inside), and the new cinema. But if you want a late-night club, you’ll probably head to Greenwich or central London. It’s more of a gastropub and a walk home vibe.

The Royal Arsenal development is the crown jewel. Walking along the river past cannons and old military buildings feels surreal. You can actually touch history. And the sunset over the Thames from the new waterfront benches? That’s worth the price of admission alone.
