Relax, take a breath. Most small chicken bone fragments pass through your digestive system without incident. Your body is surprisingly good at wrapping sharp stuff in mucus and pushing it out the other end. If it’s a tiny piece, drink some water, eat some bread (to cushion it), and you’ll probably be fine.
But watch for these signs: chest pain, trouble swallowing, vomiting blood, or a fever. If you feel like you’re having a heart attack or a spear is stabbing your tummy, go to the ER. Don’t Google it for three hours like I would.
