Activated charcoal tablets are another option. They absorb gas in your system, but don’t take them with other medications—they can absorb those, too. Read the label, or risk your multivitamin going on a surprise vacation.
And for heaven’s sake, avoid antacids with calcium or aluminum if you’re bloated. They can actually make gas worse. Pick a product specifically for gas relief.
