First, give them a little credit. Ants are the garbage collectors of the soil, aerating your lawn and eating other pests. They’re like a tiny, six-legged cleaning crew with an unbelievable work ethic.
But, a yard overrun by them starts to feel like a crumbling empire. They can protect aphids (the tiny sap-suckers) like cows, or make your picnic blanket a no-go zone. So, we’re not declaring war, just setting some gentle boundaries.
