After the wax is removed and residue is treated, laundering is where you confirm the fix. Use detergent appropriate for the fabric, and follow the care tag whenever possible.
Wash on a standard cycle. If the stain is delicate or stubborn, you can do a quick rinse check before a full wash. The extra moment prevents wasting a dryer load on a stain that isn’t fully gone.
Drying is the final checkpoint. Air-dry or use low heat until you’ve verified there’s no lingering halo or oily patch. If the stain reappears as the fabric warms, you’ll catch it before the residue becomes harder to remove.
