Here’s the secret: your Mac won’t magically know what to do. It needs a driver. Think of it as a translator. Without it, your tablet is just a fancy paperweight that smells like plastic.
Go to Wacom’s official website. Find the “Drivers” section. Type in your model number (it’s on the back of the tablet). Download the latest driver for macOS. Do not get the Windows one. Your Mac will judge you.
Double-click the downloaded file. Follow the on-screen instructions. It will ask for your password. Type it in and pretend you’re a hacker in a movie. The whole process takes about three minutes.
Restart (yes, really)
When the installer finishes, it’ll ask you to restart your Mac. Roll your eyes if you want. But do it. Trust me, your tablet wants a fresh start.
