How does he stack up? Compare him to Miruko, the No. 5 hero. She’s 26. Hawks is four years younger but ranked higher. Miruko is a bunny; Hawks is a bird. Age is just a number when you can kick villains into the stratosphere. But it’s fun to imagine the conversation: “Hey, kid, you’re my boss? How?”
Even Endeavor, the No. 1 hero, is 46. That’s a full 24 years older than Hawks. So when Hawks says “Endeavor-sensei,” it’s not just respect—it’s an age gap big enough to be his dad. Actually, Endeavor does have kids around Hawks’ age. Weird family dynamics, much?

Hawks’ real name is Keigo Takami. “Keigo” means “respect” and “protect.” His age makes that name ironic. He’s young, but he’s carrying the weight of the entire hero system on his shoulders. Not bad for a 22-year-old with wings.
Fun Birthday Trivia
If Hawks ever threw a birthday party, it would be chaos. Imagine 22 candles on a cake shaped like a fried chicken leg. He would hate that. But he’d also laugh. Then he’d steal a slice and fly out the window. That’s the energy.
His favorite gifts? Probably anything that doesn’t require effort. The guy is lazy when he’s not working. He’d love a Netflix subscription or a hammock. But he’d pretend to be cool about it. “Oh, thanks. I totally didn’t want this.” Liar.

Here’s a wild fact: In the manga, Hawks’ age is confirmed by the author, Kohei Horikoshi. It’s in the official character book. No speculation needed. He’s exactly 22 years and zero days old when the story hits its peak. So next time someone argues his age, you have science on your side. Anime science, but still.
