Here’s the wild part. Millie shot to fame at just 12 years old. That was back in 2016 when Stranger Things dropped.
We watched her fight Demogorgons before she could drive a car. She became a global icon while still in middle school. It’s absolutely bonkers.
By the time she turned 18, she had already won two Emmy nominations, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a place on the Time 100 list. Most of us were just trying to survive high school algebra.
The Math is Actually Fun
Let’s do the quick math. Millie was born in 2004. Stranger Things season one aired in July 2016.
She was 12 years and 5 months old when she first said, "Friends don't lie." Imagine being that talented at 12. I could barely tie my shoes properly.
Now she’s 20. That means she has spent more than a third of her entire life as a celebrity. Wild, right?
