Some genes are like the ultimate multitaskers, doing multiple jobs at once. Others are super specialized, only doing one thing, but doing it really, really well. But what's really interesting is that only about 1-2% of our genes are actually unique to humans. The rest are shared with other animals, like our furry friends, the chimpanzees. Who knew we had so much in common with our primate pals? It's like we're all part of one big, happy genetic family!
