Look, sometimes you have to break up with lasagna. It’s not you, it’s the bacteria. Here are the red flags: mold (obviously), slimy cheese, or a sour, yeasty smell.
If the edges look dry and cracked like a desert, it’s past its prime. If the sauce has separated into watery puddles? Toss it. Your trash can is ready for this breakup.
