After you uninstall a browser, your computer will ask you to choose a new default one. And you will. Within a week, you’ll probably download that same browser again because a website “works better on it.” I’ve uninstalled Chrome four times this year, and each time I reinstall it because I miss the extensions.
So here’s my advice: don’t stress about the perfect uninstall. Just do the basic steps, forget the hidden files, and if something breaks, that’s how you learn. Dave, by the way, uninstalled “QuickSearchPro 2026” but accidentally also removed his WiFi driver. He ended up on a support call for three hours. But hey, at least his browser is gone. For now.
