Let’s be honest, the white controller is the cleanest look in gaming. It’s like wearing a white t-shirt on a first date—you look sharp, but you know it’s only a matter of time before a Dorito dust incident happens. Everyone wants that pristine aesthetic before they ruin it with their own Cheeto fingerprints.
Best Buy’s website probably looked like a digital ghost town for that item within minutes. I picture a single employee standing by the stockroom door, shrugging and saying, “We had twenty. They’re gone. Try the ATM next door.” It’s the fastest a piece of plastic has sold since the launch of the limited-edition Spider-Man console.
Why Target and Amazon Are the Cool Kids
Here’s the plot twist: Target and Amazon are still holding the line. It’s like when you show up to the party late, but the host says, “Relax, we’ve got a secret cooler in the garage.” Target is that reliable friend who always has a spare charger and a bag of popcorn. Amazon is the magical warehouse that sometimes gets your package two days early and sometimes sends you a waffle iron by mistake.

Right now, you can still pull up Amazon and see that white beauty in stock. It’s like finding a $20 bill in an old winter coat. You weren’t expecting it, but suddenly your day is 15% better. Target’s website is also hanging tough, probably because their supply chain is powered by pure retail sorcery and a thousand robots.
Don’t sleep on them, though. This is a fragile peace. History tells us that stock can vanish faster than your resolve to finish a salad. One minute you’re browsing, the next minute you’re looking at a “Back in stock soon” message that might as well say “See you next Spring.”
