For starters, Basic Training is no cakewalk - it's a grueling 10-week program that pushes recruits to their limits, physically and mentally. But when they finally make it through, they get to experience the proud moment of graduation, surrounded by family, friends, and their fellow soldiers. It's a major accomplishment, and one that they'll always remember!
Now, you might be wondering - when exactly are these graduation dates? Well, they change from year to year, but typically take place every Thursday and Friday, from January to December. Yes, you read that right - every week, there's a new batch of graduates, which means there are plenty of opportunities to attend a ceremony and cheer on these brave men and women!
But here's the cool part: Fort Jackson is actually the largest Basic Combat Training center in the US Army, with over 45,000 recruits training there every year. That's a whole lot of future soldiers! And when they graduate, they get to join the ranks of some of the most brave and selfless individuals on the planet - it's truly an inspiring experience.
