Rumors pop up every few years about a potential new stadium with a retractable roof. “Retractable” is the key word—it’s the Goldilocks solution. You can close it for comfort, open it for tradition. But even if they build one, the spirit of the team won’t change.
A dome is just a lid. The heart of the Commanders is in the fans who show up, rain or shine, and in the grit of a team that has to weather the storm—literally. Whether they play under a roof or not, the joy comes from the game itself.

What This Teaches Us About Life
Here’s the part that makes me smile: the “do they play in a dome” question is actually a metaphor. It’s asking, “Are you going to control your environment, or learn to thrive within it?” The Commanders choose the latter, and so can you.
When life throws a downpour, don’t look for a roof. Dance in the rain. When the wind knocks your plans sideways, adjust your aim. The most memorable victories—on the field and off—happen when you refuse to let conditions dictate your spirit.
