These two are the theater’s new managers, and they have no idea what they’ve signed up for. They’re basically the office bosses from a 90s comedy. They want profits, they want pretty singers, and they do not want phantom letters demanding Box Five be kept empty.

They spend most of the show panicking. “Opera Ghost? What opera ghost? Oh, he wants a salary? And now the chandelier is falling? Great. We’re doomed.” They argue about money and divas while chaos unfolds around them. It’s peak sitcom energy.

We don’t see them much in Act II, which is fine. Their eternal role is to look confused and count francs. They do it beautifully.

In the movie version, she even gets a backstory with the Phantom. But mostly, she’s the silent MVP of the whole operation. She moves the plot along, and she never gets a solo. Criminal, honestly.
