Dolly Parton was a legend in the music industry, with a career spanning over 50 years. She's known for her catchy songs, big hair, and bigger personality. From "Jolene" to "Islands in the Stream", she's had so many hits that it's hard to choose just one favorite!
But "9 To 5" is definitely one of her most iconic songs. Released in 1980, it was the theme song for the movie of the same name, in which Dolly starred alongside Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. The song's funny lyrics and infectious beat make it a crowd-pleaser to this day!
The Buckingham Palace Band's performance of "9 To 5" is a fun twist on the classic song. They add their own unique spin, with a marching band style that's perfect for the Palace. It's a great tribute to Dolly Parton's legacy, and a fun way to remember her amazing music!
