Let's start with the Native Americans, who were here long before the Europeans crashed the party. These indigenous folks had their own thriving cultures, complete with trade networks, spiritual practices, and some seriously impressive headdresses. And then, of course, came the Europeans, who brought with them diseases, firearms, and a healthy dose of conquest!
Fast forward to the 13 colonies, where the seeds of American independence were sown. It was a time of revolutionary ideas, passionate debates, and some very brave (or crazy) individuals who dared to challenge the status quo. We're talking George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and other founding fathers who shaped the course of American history.
