You know the drill. You wake up on a Monday, stretch like a cat in a sunbeam, and think, “Ah, a day off! Let’s get some shopping done.”
Then the panic hits. Is Aldi open? Do I need to stock up on those weirdly addictive chocolate bars, or am I doomed to a day of sad sandwiches from the corner shop?
Take a breath, my friend. I’ve got the inside scoop. And it’s surprisingly good news.
Spoiler: They’re Usually Open (But With a Twist)
Aldi doesn’t do the whole “shut the doors and hide” thing on most Bank Holidays. They get it. You need your cheap avocados and those mysterious middle aisle treasures.
On a standard Bank Holiday Monday, most Aldi stores open at 8am. Yes, 8 o’clock in the morning. Like it’s a normal Tuesday or something.
But here’s the kicker. They close early. Typically around 4pm or 5pm. So you can’t do that midnight run for a bag of frozen prawns.
